About
I'm Tamer. I design ads
that have to work.
Freelance marketing and brand designer focused on performance creative. Eight years of client work, mostly paid social, mostly for companies testing at volume.
Where I started
I started designing at 12 and have been freelancing full time since I was laid off as a teenager. There was no design school in between. The work was the training, and the feedback loop was whether a client came back.
What I actually do
Performance creative. Static ads for paid social, and the brand systems underneath them. Not general graphic design, and not a bit of everything. The narrowness is the point.
Most of my work runs on Meta, with LinkedIn, Google Display, X and out-of-home alongside it. I build concepts as systems so a brand can test at volume without rebuilding from scratch every time.
Who I work with
Mostly B2B SaaS, AI companies and DTC brands, ranging from seed stage teams to billion-dollar companies. The work has included Replit and Scale AI on the software side, Huel and Geviti on the consumer side, and Hospitable, Context, Sunsama, Remento and iSpot.tv across both.
Designing for accounts at that scale changes the job. After enough volume you stop guessing at what will work, because you have already watched the same patterns win and lose dozens of times. That judgement is most of what people are actually hiring.
How I work
Async by default. Send a brief, get concepts back in 24 to 48 hours, revisions usually the same day. No standing calls unless you want them. Speed is the thing clients mention most, and it comes from not needing a meeting to understand a brief.
I work remotely, globally. Most clients are in the US and Europe.
Outside the work
I build things on the side, mostly small products and tools. It keeps me close to how the people I design for actually think about their products.
